The hit series follows a group of Northern lads who all take part in various criminal plots to earn money.
The comedy stars Michelle Keegan and co-creator Joe Gilgun, upon whose life many early parts of the show's plot were based on.
Danny Brocklehurst, the show's co-creator and writer, said: “When Joe Gilgun and I sat down to create Brassic, we couldn't have imagined, in our wildest dreams, that we would do seven series and gather such a loyal and loving fan base.
"It's been a complete joy to create this eccentric world, but all good things must come to an end, and we want to stop while we are still riding high. Maybe they can finally give us that BAFTA!”
A Sky spokesperson went on to add: “Since Brassic arrived on our screens in 2019, it has become Sky's most successful comedy ever.

"Fans very quickly became attached to this dynamic group of friends, as they found unconventional ways to win at life in northern suburbia.
"We would like to thank Joe Gilgun, Danny Brocklehurst and the whole cast and crew – past and present – for bringing us all a truly iconic series, which we’ve loved for its special mix of hilarity and heart.”
David Livingstone, founder of Calamity Films who produced the show, also said: “Somehow, some crazy stories and a bucketful of truth, combined with an astoundingly talented cast, have created the most loyal fanbase you could ever hope for.
"From Joe Gilgun’s unconventional imagination to Danny Brocklehurst’s brilliant writing, it's all been a blast. This farewell series is for the fans.”
While the show's sixth season has recently been released, the final series is currently filming, with Michelle Keegan, Joe Gilgun, and the whole cast returning.
The first four seasons of the show have recently been added to Netflix, spending a long period at the top of the streamer's charts.
LADbible recently spoke exclusively to co-creator Brocklehurst regarding Brassic's sixth season, and he said of the season's ending: "The way series six ends, I'm not going to reveal it obviously, is huge, and Hollywood movie stuff.

“You know, so that was a challenge. I really did not understand how they were going to do it.
“But when I pitched it verbally, everybody just kept saying, 'Yes, we can make it happen'. And I was like, 'good luck'."
He went on to say of series six: "It's an interesting one series six, because I think it's a fraction more emotional perhaps than some of the other series.
“But there are also a lot of big, crazy laughs and usual stupidity.”
He added: “I think actually, this year is more interesting in a way, because we've sort of challenged the perception of the characters a bit."
